The TownLake YMCA Branch in Austin, TX is seeking Locker Room Housekeeping Staff to join our team. We are looking for applicants that can work the evenings from 7:00pm - 11:00pm. 

Pay Rate:  $9.00 - $10.00 per hour, depending on experience

General Function:

Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the Housekeeping staff is responsible for the upkeep and general appearance of the locker rooms and related areas.


  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be capable of doing the physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend work.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age. 
  • Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude. 
  • Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA.

​Specific Responsibilities:

  • Along with staff members, responsible for keeping areas organized, equipment clean, and reports all damage and equipment failures to branch director.
  • Deep cleans locker room areas including showers, toilets, sinks, lockers and floors.
  • Maintains a clean and bright facility appearance by stocking paper goods and emptying waste containers.
  • Performs routine inspections of facilities as a means of preventative maintenance.
