The TownLake YMCA in Austin, TX is seeking Child Watch Staff to join our team to specifically work Parents Night Out Event. We are a positive community and would love to add like-minded individuals to our work family!

We are looking for applicants that are available to work the following shifts:

  • Two Saturdays per month from 4:15pm – 9:15pm.


PAY RATE:  $9.25-$9.50 per hour, depending on experience


Under the direction of the Child Watch Coordinator, Child Watch Staff are responsible for providing a safe and fun environment for ages 3 to 12 years by playing games, story time, playing sports, supervision while they eat, cleaning up, connecting and building relationships with families. Staff will work toward providing a program to foster children’s social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth.


  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting
  • Reliable transportation to attend work.
  • Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA.
  • Experience caring for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.


CPR and First Aid or must be obtained within 30 days of employment


Individual membership to all YMCA's of Austin (over $600.00/year value);
