The East Communities YMCA Branch in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Body Pump Instructor to join our team.

We are looking for applicants that are available to work Saturdays at 9:30am, as well as substitute opportunities.

Pay Rate:
$18-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

General Function:

Under the direction of the Health & Wellness Director, the Body Pump Instructor is responsible for teaching participants the benefits of exercise and providing a safe and healthy instructional experience using the current Les Mills choreography. Must maintain Les Mills autoship commitment.


  • Current Les Mills Body Pump certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • General Group Ex Certification
  • Minimum of 18 years of age with high school degree or equivalent
  • Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Reliable transportation to attend work
  • Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA
