The TownLake YMCA is seeking Housekeeping Staff to join our team. We are looking for applicants that have availability to work Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.

PAY RATE: $9.00 – $10.00 per hour

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the Housekeeping staff is responsible for the upkeep and general appearance of related areas. Housekeeping staff may also be responsible for performing routine light maintenance in accordance with the maintenance program. Housekeeping staff will be responsible for traditional janitorial duties, such as cleaning of bathrooms, showers, and fitness areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be capable of doing the physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend work.
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to a welcoming and professional dress code.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for keeping areas organized, equipment clean, and reports all damage and equipment failures to the Executive Director.
  • Straightens and cleans designated areas after activities.
  • Keeps surrounding outdoor areas clean.
  • Performs routine inspections of facilities as a means of preventative maintenance.
