The North Austin Branch is seeking Child Watch Staff to join our team. We are looking for applicants that are available to work the following shifts:

  • Mondays through Saturdays, 7:45am – 1:15pm
  • Mondays through Saturdays, 3:45pm – 8:45pm

Pay rate:

$8.50 - $9.50 per hour, depending on experience.

General Function:

The Child Watch Staff Attendant is responsible to provide consistent, quality care and good service every time to the member’s children. Staff will be responsible for caring for children between ages 6 weeks old to 11 years old. Staff will also be responsible for light cleaning of the Child Watch space. Staff must be able to provide a comfortable, safe and non-threatening environment for children to grow in. Staff must help create a positive experience for these children. Staff will be promoting the YMCA character values, mission, wellness philosophy and our role in the community.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience working with babies and children
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Reliable transportation to attend work
  • Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA
